What you don't know about the Hall induction magnetic ring of the motor

Time:2023-12-08 Views:1

Brushless motors and some fixed speed motors often require the use of Hall induction magnetic rings, also known as Hall induction magnetic poles in the brushless motor industry, because Hall induction magnetic rings are generally multipole magnetic rings (multiple N S), and their working principle is to rely on the multiple magnetic poles of the magnetic ring to induce Hall components, in order to test the speed and efficiency of the motor, and to control the operation of the motor based on the signals provided by the Hall induction magnetic ring.

The Hall induction magnetic ring generally does not require too strong magnetism. As long as multiple magnetic poles are arranged and can provide magnetic pole signals to the Hall element, the Hall element can receive signals and work normally. Therefore, Hall induction magnetic rings are mostly isotropic ferrite magnetic rings, which are magnetically stable and have distinct magnetic poles, providing a stable magnetic pole signal for Hall induction components, making them widely used in speed measurement. According to the requirements of brushless motors, there are two types: axial multipole magnetic rings and radial multipole magnetic rings. The surface magnetic field of the magnetic ring is generally around 1000GS, which is not too strong or weak, and can provide signals to the Hall induction element without affecting the normal operation of the motor's magnetic ring.

However, due to different industries, the professional terms for products also vary, such as Hall induction magnetic ring, multipole induction magnetic ring, Hall induction magnetic pole, radial induction magnetic ring, radial multipole magnetic ring, etc. However, after understanding the usage of the product, it can mostly be determined that it is Hall induction magnetic ring. The price of the same radial multipole Hall induction magnetic ring is low, and its magnetism is stable in brushless motors Stepper reduction motors and other products are widely used.
